MEET PATTI THEIL!
When graduating from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, Patti entered the securities industry, her success obvious early in her career. One of the first woman managers at First Investors Corporation, Patti oversaw five offices as a Vice President before stepping back to move to Colorado to raise her family. Before retiring, she also spent a decade in the private equity market, now enjoying options trading.
Always motivating, Patti held many leadership roles, donating countless hours volunteering her skills and knowledge while helping to raise thousands of dollars for organizations impacting her community, children’s education, Indiana University, and Kappa Alpha Theta. In 2019, she cofounded Food Insecurity and Relief Solutions Today (FIRST), a nonprofit organization devoted to helping communities devastated by disasters or suffering from food insecurity. FIRST now goes by First-Impact, and on 8/15/23 she handed off her role as president, remaining on its board of directors. On 9/15/25, her term will end, though she will continue her work by sitting on several other boards.
Passionate about the “Great Colorado Women” film series, Patti also donates her time to the Colorado Women’s Hall of Fame Board of Directors, as well as serving on three boards for Indiana University—one at her local level, the Alumni Association, and the IU Foundation. Recognizing the importance of education, in May, 2025, Patti received Certification in Sex, Gender, and Reproduction from the Kinsey Institute at Indiana University. She’ll also return to the Kinsey Institute in the fall of 2025 to attend the Kinsey Institute Specialty Intensive and Symposium (KISIS) on Sex and Aging.
Always inspiring and motivating, Patti offers contagious energy to any gathering! To book her to speak at your upcoming corporate or private event, contact her at patti@pattitheil.com!
